Sharon Diane Lansdown, 66 years, passed to heaven on March 28, 2010 at Ava, MO.

Sharon was born October 26, 1943 in Douglas County, MO to Charles Raymond and Ruby (Elliott) Linder.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. On March 17, 1960 Sharon and Jerry Lansdown were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union five children were born. Sharon worked at Hagale Industries in Ava for over 20 years. She also worked at Copeland for a few years. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Ava, MO. Her life was her family. She knew the importance of faith and left an amazing legacy of Faith and Family to her children and their families, as well as all who knew her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Darrel Linder and a sister, Jewel Linder.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Lansdown, Ava, MO, five children & their spouses,Terry & Connie Lansdown, Ava, MO, Robyn & Ivan Chambers, Colorado Springs, CO, Sonia & Dustin Mitchell, Tim Lansdown, Amy & Shelbe Kilgore all of Ava, MO, 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, Wilma Davis, Mansfield, MO, Vera Davis, Hood River, OR, Anita Smith, Ava, MO and Loretta & John Andrews, Mansfield, MO, one brother, Gerald & Charlotte Linder, Plattsburg, MO, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Sharon will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Brushyknob Cemetery east of Ava. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Maples. Memorials may be made to Gideons.
