SHARON JEAN RUBEY

Sharon Jean Rubey, 61, of Gainesville, MO passed away February 28, 2020 at Gainesville Healthcare Center, Gainesville, MO. She was born November 14, 1958 in Brighton, IA to Henry and Darlene (Bennett) Rubey.

Sharon was a homemaker. She loved crocheting, cooking, spending time on her computer, and going to Deb Lou's café in Gainesville. She formerly served as a volunteer and secretary for the Timber Knob Volunteer Fire Department.

She is survived by her companion of 30 years, Mike Wolfer of the home in Gainesville, MO; her cousin Mary DeHerrera and husband Alan of Gainesville; as well as several cousins and extended family members in Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Darlene Rubey; and one sister Karen McFarland.

No local services are planned at this time. The family has honored Sharon's wish for cremation. Arrangements are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
