Shelli Jim-Ann Black

Ava, Missouri

Shelli Jim-Ann Black, 32 years, 5 months, 14 days old, passed away on December 20, 2016 at her home in Ava, MO.

Shelli was born July 6, 1984 in Memphis, TN to Jimmy and Gloria (Davis) Black.

Shelli graduated from Ava High School in 2004. She graduated with an Associate's Degree at Drury University in 2009.

Shelli was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Heart of the Ozarks Health Care in Ava, MO.

Shelli was a strong independent woman and it was her dream to stand on her own.

Shelli enjoyed spending time with her fur babies, Wooly and Abby. She loved working at Heart of the Ozarks and helping people. She enjoyed spending time with friends. She also enjoyed dressing up and dressing up her fur babies. She also loved learning and teaching others sign langauge.

Shelli was preceded in death by her sister, Britney Black and a cousin, Danny Morgan.

Shelli is survived by her parents, two brothers, Channing Black and Brohn and Tammra Black, two nephews, Trystan and Cameron Black, a niece, Megan Jackson and close friends, Lance and Amy Ludwig.


Funeral services for Shelli will be Monday, December 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Officiating will be Evangelist Victor Williams. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
