Sheryl Lynn Cooley, 50 years, passed away on April 3, 2019 at Cox South Medical Center ER in Springfield, MO from a sudden illness with her family by her side.

Sheryl was born October 13, 1968 in East St. Louis, IL to Sallie (Cox).

On June 4, 1989 Sheryl and Phillip Grant Cooley were united in marriage at Lebanon, MO and to this union they were blessed with one son, Sean.

She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and doing things for other people. Her joy was taking care of her family and friends.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Sallie Greene.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Cooley of Springfield, one son, Sean Cooley & Jessie of Springfield, MO, one grandson, Axel Cooley, her siblings, Shannon, Glen, Mike, Pam, Kevin, and Mark and other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for Sheryl are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to the local Children's Miracle Network.
