Shirley May Standfield

Shirley May Standfield, 74 years, 2 months, 2 days old, passed away on  February 29, 2024 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri with her family by her side.

On December 27, 1949, Shirley was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Jean Kabansky.

Shirley worked as a cook for the local VFW and had also worked at Highway House as a cook and dishwasher. Shirley enjoyed taking care of her dog, Otis. She also enjoyed playing cards with her grandkids and loved fishing. Most of all she loved being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Chambers and a sister, Debbie.

Shirley is survived by her son, Jessie Standfield and wife, Donna; five grandchildren, Austin Mulvania, Kaylea Mulvania, Justice Standfield, Kaylee Wallin, and Curtis Wallin; and friends.

Funeral services for Shirley will be Monday, March 4, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Sweden Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd.
