Stacey Jane Bates, 60 years, 4 months, 29 days old, passed away on March 3, 2022 at her home in Ava, Missouri.

Stacey was born October 4, 1961 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Clark and Diane (Pugh) Devers.

She moved to Ava in 2017 from Mississippi with her daughter, Kristen and family. She was a Certified Public Accountant. She had received her business college degree from Mississippi College.

Stacey enjoyed cooking, fishing, flowers, gardening and loved spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and had the best baked chicken out of this world. Stacey was a Christian and of the Southern Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.

Stacey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen & Brandon, her granddaughters, Kaleigh and Khloe Hurst.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava. In her memory donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
