Stacy Lynn Raney

Ava, Missouri

Stacy Lynn Raney, 56 years, 2 months, and 29 days old, passed away on, May 12, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.

Stacy was born February 14, 1970, in Springfield, Missouri, to Steven Raney and Patricia (Middleton) Evans.

He graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 1989.

He was a National Guard Veteran and served his country honorably.

Stacy was an EMT, Paramedic, and later served as the Administrator at the Ozark County Ambulance District in Gainesville, Missouri. They renamed the base to the Raney Base in recognition of Stacy.

Stacy and Angie were united in marriage on August 10, 2010, at Table Rock Lake.

Stacy was saved at a young age. He attended the Ava Assembly of God Church for several years.

He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and spending time outdoors.

Stacy was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Stacy is survived by his parents; Steven Raney (Verna) and Patricia Evans (Jim); wife,Angie; six children, Stephanie Moore (Brandon), Sarah Rickman (Aaron), Madison Raney, Michelle Hestley, Evan Hestley, and Heather Hestley; six grandchildren, Chase, Dalton, Emma, Jayden, Isabell, and Mason; siblings, Garett Raney, Shanda Fitzgerald, Scott Evans, and Darren Evans; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Stacy will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the Ava Assembly of God in Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery Mountain Grove, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd and Pastor Mike Dillin. Memorials may be made to the Ava Assembly of God Building Fund.
