Stephanie Jean Curtright, 45, of Caulfield, MO passed to heaven on August 13, 2011 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born January 27, 1966 in Kennett, MO to James and Barbara (Edwards) Jarrett Shelton.


In life, Stephanie loved the outdoors, poetry, and re-uniting adopted children with their birth parents. Stephanie was full of strength, endurance and loving to others.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father James Author Jarrett Shelton; one brother Cledus Dean Jarrett; both sets of paternal grandparents; and one aunt Cletda Grace Darland.


Stephanie is survived by her husband William J. Curtright, Caulfield, MO; her mother Barbara Lee Jarrett of Kennett, MO; five children Jamie Lee Cato of Paragould, AR, Jody Lynn Barnette of Theodosia, MO, William J. Curtright Jr. of Caulfield, MO, Jenny Kay Curtright of Kennett, MO and Justin Wayne Curtright of Caulfield, MO; one brother James Lee Jarrett of Paragould, AR; one sister Tami Renee Skaggs of Clarkton, MO; aunt Frieda Lewallen of Edgeville, SC; uncle Jim Edwards of Caulfield, MO; many cousins, nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews; and lots of friends and family.


Funeral services for Stephanie will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 in the Clear Springs Church with Charles McFarland officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Lee Cato, William J.
