Steve Frye, 85, of Gainesville, MO died peacefully on August 6, 2022 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. At his request, no services will be held.

Mr. Frye was born November 12, 1936 in San Diego, CA to Sam and Edna Frye, the oldest of three sons. He worked for many years as a truck driver and also in construction. He moved back to Gainesville after several years in Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Edna Frye; two brothers John Frye and Sam Frye Jr.; and one son-in-law Leon Eslinger. He leaves behind his children, son Cameron Frye & Mitzi, son Clint "Bull" Frye & Jessica, and daughter Debbie Eslinger all of Gainesville, MO, and son Craig "Woody" Frye & Tammy of Thornton, CO; his grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and in-laws.
