Steve Yocum, 65 years, 5 months, and 7 days old, passed to heaven on May 21, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.
Steve was born on December 14, 1950 in St. Joseph, MO to John and Mary (Scott) Yocum.
Steve and Janet Driskell were united in marriage on May 12, 1976 in Clinton, MO and to this union three children were born.
Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Steve is survived by his wife, Janet, one son, Gabe Yocum and wife Lorie, two daughters, Mandy Twitty and husband Michael Lirley and Rachel Yocum and husband Michael Rigsby, seven grandchildren, Dalton Yocum, Ceton Twitty, Arya Rigsby, Nate Lirley, Jacob Lirley, Dakota Merriett and Haley Rigsby, one sister, Charolette Webster, three brothers, Bruce Yocum, Jimmy Yocum and Jerry Yocum and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home Ava, MO.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
