Evelyn "Sue" Bennett, 68, of Wellington, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was born August 10, 1946 in Gainesville, Missouri to Claudia Alene and Ancil Eldon Turner. Sue lived in Thornfield, Missouri for many years prior to moving to Wellington in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ancil; and granddaughter, Bailey Bennett.
Sue is survived by her children, Kandra Trainer and her husband, Randy, of Wellington, Missouri, Karla Willard and Monti Garrett, of Bates City, Missouri, and James "Odie" Bennett and Heather Begeman, of Odessa, Missouri; her mother Alene Turner of Thornfield, MO; six grandchildren, Brett, Cody, Justin, Jenna, Bridgette, and Connor; two great-granddaughters, Adilynn and Kennedy; two sisters, Gail Reich, of Gainesville, Missouri, and Jamie Wyman and her husband, Keith, of Thornfield, Missouri; three brothers, Larry Turner and his wife, Lora, of Mansfield, Missouri, John Turner and his wife, Phyllis, of Gainesville, Missouri, and Gier Turner, of Gainesville, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. Sue was always willing to help anyone in need. She especially enjoyed her time with family.
Sue was a member of Thornfield Southern Baptist Church, was an active member of AARP and an annual participant in The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event in Ozark County. She was a member of team, "Bailey's Warriors", in memory of her granddaughter.

Funeral services for Sue will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Leonard Hart officiating. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. to service time.
Burial will be in Thornfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
