Suzanne Sanders, 80 years, 6 months, 7 days old, passed on to Heavenly home on March 2, 2020 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare with her family by her side.
Suzanne was born August 25, 1939 in Springfield, MO to Lloyd E. "Buss" and Wilma Joann (Sell) Reynolds.
On August 28, 1959 Suzanne and Weldon Sanders were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union they were blessed with two children, Susan and Mark. Suzanne was co-owner and bookkeeper of Sanders Rock Products alongwith her husband Weldon, Herb & Stella for many years.
As a young woman she had the opportunity to work with her father, "Buss" in his insurance office in Ava. She later worked in the Ava School System in the Remedial Reading Dept. Suzanne also worked as Office Manager for the Missouri Fox Trotter's Horse Breeding Assoc. for several years.
Suzanne was a Christian and a member of the Ava United Methodist Church. She loved music and loved to sing. In her earlier years she led the choir. She believed in always giving and to be an encouragement to others. Her devotion, love, and support was to her family! She adored her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandson. Her legacy lives on in them.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, "Buss" & Wilma Reynolds, her husband, Weldon in 2011, and her in-laws, Herb & Stella Sanders.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Susan & Matt Calhoun of Branson, MO and Mark & Ofelia Sanders of Ava, three grandchildren, Tyler "Biggs" & Levie Watterson, Trevor Watterson and Makenzie Watterson, one great grandson, Thomas Weldon Watterson, brother-in-law, Harvel & Susan Sanders, nephews, Jon & Jodie Sanders, Robb & Carli Sanders, cousins, Jim & Jo Gaston, other relatives and many friends!
Funeral services for Suzanne will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ava United Methodist Church with burial following in the Denney Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to service time in the church. Officiating will be Rev. Oren Alcorn, Rev. Harvel Sanders, and Pastor Richard Rogers. Memorials may be made to Ava United Methodist Church or Denney Cemetery. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
