Sybil Fay Bias, 73
Funeral services for Sybil Fay Bias, 73, of Theodosia, Missouri, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Jim Bias, Tom Cantrell and Lynn Jennings officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time. Mrs. Bias passed peacefully at home Jan. 18, 2014.
Sybil was born March 15, 1940 in Mansfield, Missouri, the daughter of Ruby and Willy Liles. She married Don Bias in 1955 at Springfield, Mo. They resided in Porter, Ok. where they lived most of their lives and owned and operated the Peach Capital Café and D&S Grocery Store. She was famous for her outstanding cooking, hospitality and her warm smile. They retired and relocated to the hills of Ozark County near Theodosia where they have made many friends and resided for 20 years. They regularly attended Dugginsville Community Church and True Hope Church of Theodosia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Fern Gilbert and brothers, Ernest and Edgar Liles.
Survivors include her husband, Don Bias of Theodosia, her daughter, Debbie Davidson of Porter, son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Deana Bias of Porter, her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Charles David of Theodosia. Her grandchildren include Sarah and Will Bushyhead, Lisa and Jamie McDowell, Jake Willard, Rose Bias, Jessica Bias, Michael and Angelique Davidson, Sean Willard, and Emalou Bias. Her great-grandson is, Bentley Davidson of Michael and Angelique Davidson and another great-grandchild of Sarah Bushyhead is on the way.
