Taylor A. Hale, 86 years, passed away on June 1, 2013 at his home in Ava.
Taylor was born April 8, 1927 in Ava, MO to Fate and Adelia (York) Hale.
Taylor was a resident of Ava since 1995 moving from Washington and California states. His working years were out west where he was an Over the Road Truck Driver.
On March 29, 1950 Taylor and Jessie Strong were united in marriage in Mansfield, MO and to this union two children were born.
Taylor enjoyed helping his Mom and Dad on the farm growing up. He enjoyed hunting and loved teasing his friends and family and to talk about the good old days.
Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jessie, two sisters, Jewell Morgan and Pearl Leckenby and two infant sisters, Roxie and Goldie.
Taylor is survived by two children, Jane Johnson, Ava, MO and Barry Hale, Farmersville, CA, one grandson, Rick Helms, two sisters, Irene Farris and Elva King both of Mansfield, MO, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
