Terry Allen Nelson, 62 years, 5 months, and 3days old, passed away on , July 4, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri with his family by his side.

Terry was born in Ava, Missouri to James Dwayne "Jim" and Ressie (Johnson) Nelson.

Terry enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and was an avid hunter.  He liked to bowl and play softball.  He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Terry was loved very much.  He will be missed tremendously.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Abigail Nelson.

Terry is survived by his significant other, Carolyn Williams; son, Steven and Rebecca Nelson; step-son, Bobby Joe and Kathy Stoneroad; grandchildren, Alyssa Nelson, Ashley Nelson, Hailey Nelson, Dana Nelson, Brody Nelson and Tobi Nelson; great-granddaughter, Emma Valence; brother, Jackie Nelson; sisters, Teresa and Danny Davis and Donna and Bobby Hull, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Terry will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.  Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 P.M. to service time.  Officiating will be Rev. James Orick.  A Private burial will be held at a later date and time.  Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
