Thomas 'Tom' Henry Grisham, 88

A graveside services for Thomas "Tom" Henry Grisham, 88, of Gainesville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at Gainesville Cemetery. Mr. Grisham died peacefully on Aug. 22.

He was born June 25, 1933, in Gainesville, the son of Hervil and Margorie Grisham. He moved to Los Angeles, California, with his family at a young age and later moved to Bakersfield, California, where he had many fond memories.
He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and was stationed in England, where he met his future wife, Audrey, who became the mother of his two sons.

The Grishams raised their family between California and British Columbia, Canada, returning to Missouri later in life.

Mr. Grisham was a member of the Gainesville First Christian Church.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Grisham and wife Marti of Springfield, and Greg Grisham and partner Allan of Kansas City; his sister, Joann O'Mally of Bakersfield, California; two grandchildren, Neil Grisham and Katelyn Grisham; two great-grandchildren; and his long-time friend Loretta Walker of Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Clarence Grisham: and his former wife, Audrey.
