Thomas Eugene Martin, Sr. 69 years, 7 months, 24 days old passed away on July 22, 2019 at the Bentonview Park Health & Rehab.in Monett, MO. Tom was born November 28, 1949 in Bradleyville, MO to Thomas Herman and Lucy Emma (Sartin) Martin.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the U.S. Army in the 101 ^st Airborne Division. Tom was proud to serve his country. Tom was a Christian and a member of the Bradleyville Church of the Nazarene. He was saved and baptized by Vernon Fuller. He worked for several years for the Butler County Kansas Highway Dept. He also worked for Cessna and worked with Junior Hicks, his brother-in-law at Hicks Mill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, watching old westerns and playing solitaire.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Delmar. Tom is survived by one son and wife, Tom & Megan Martin, Jr. of Carterville, MO, a granddaughter, Hailey Martin, a sister and husband, Peggy & Junior Hicks of Bradleyville, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Tom will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bradleyville Church of the Nazarene in Bradleyville, MO with burial following in the Oak Ridge Cemetery (Martin-Horner) north of Bradleyville with Military Honors by the Troy Herd American Legion Post #112 and U.S. Army. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Vernon Fuller.
