Thomas Joseph Weyrauch Sr

Thomas Joseph Weyrauch Sr, 86 years, 6 months, 8 days old, passed away on September 3, 2017 at Heart of the Ozarks in Ava with his loving wife by his side.

Thomas was born February 26, 1931 in Howard, Kansas to Francis J. and Audrey (Tice) Weyrauch.

Thomas served in the Navy during the Korean war.

Thomas and Nada Jo (Corder) were united in marriage on November 20 ^th , 1954 in Los Angeles, California.

Thomas worked in the Aerospace industry for Rocketdyne in California and Mississippi where he helped build rocket engines that were used to put astronats on the moon. In 1969, he achieved his dream of owning a farm when he moved to Missouri. He operated a bulldozer for over twenty years after moving to Missouri. Thomas enjoyed working on his farm and checking on his cattle and dogs. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandchildren who will miss him greatly.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John Francis Weyrauch, a sister, Beatrice Jackie Benning, and two daughter in laws, Valerie Weyrauch and Tammy Weyrauch.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nada Jo Weyrauch, three sons, Thomas Weyrauch Jr, Bob Weyrauch, and Jim Smart, twelve grandchildren, Jimmy, Jody, Jennifer, Ruby, Trish, Tammy, Amy, David, Rebecca, John, Willie, and Erik, twenty and ¾ great grandchildren (one on the way), a sister, Winifred Heisler, a brother, Jess Weyrauch, as well as many cousins, neices, nephews, and other family and friends.

Cremation services for Thomas are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
