Thomas R. Winchell, 77 years, passed away on January 3, 2013 at his home in Ava, MO with his wife by his side.
Thomas was born April 25, 1935 in Joliet, IL to Robert and Bessie (Brooke) Winchell.
Thomas lived most of his life in Coal City and Braidwood Illinois. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean war. Growing up he enjoyed trap shooting and hunting. He was an accomplished marksman, winning many awards at the shooting club he belonged to. He also very much enjoyed traveling in his RV and camping with friends and family on holidays.
He was a member of the Top of Ozarks shooting club.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Thomas is survived by his wife Mary, five children, two sisters, many grand children, great grand children, nieces, and nephews.
