Timothy Brian Gray, 44 years, passed away on November 18, 2012 at his home in Douglas county south of Norwood, MO.
Brian was born November 28, 1967 in Springfield, MO to Roy and Velma (Hopper) Gray. He graduated from Norwood High School.
Brian lived his life in the Norwood community.On March 27, 1992 Brian and Sheila Mackey were united in marriage at the Coldsprings Church in Douglas County. Brian was employed with Forrest Meat Processing in Norwood for many years and at the time of his passing.
Brian was a faithful member of the Coldsprings Freewill Baptist Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent and teacher. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, finding the earliest morel mushrooms of the season, gardening and cutting wood. Brian was a special uncle who leaves his nieces and nephews with many fond memories and was a kind man to all. His loving legacy will live on in his family and those who knew him.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Janice & Billy Hill.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Sheila of the home,
three brothers, David & Barbie Gray, Kevin & Debbie Gray and Dean Gray all of Norwood, MO, three sisters, Carolyn & Leo Stofer, Mtn. Grove, MO, Sherry & Paul McIntosh, Norwood, MO and Donna & Delbert Gilley, Mtn. Grove, MO, father- and mother-in-law, Harvey & Roma Mackey, Ava, MO, brother-in-law, Danny Mackey and sister-in-law, Suzanne Mackey both of Ava, MO, Brian was also survived by 90 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Brian will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Denlow Cemetery near Norwood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Brother Craig Blankenship and Brother Rick Forrest. Memorials may be made to the family as a Love Offering or to Gideons.
