Tina "Roxie" Heimeyer

Tina "Roxie" Heimeyer, 93 years, 7 months, 24 days old, passed away on January 10, 2018 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, MO.

Roxie was born May 16, 1924 in Smallett, MO to Herbert Easter and Eliza Jane (Hogan) Johnson.

Roxie was retired from working 30 years at a box company in Davenport, IA.

On June 5, 1952 Roxie and Howard Heimeyer were united in marriage at Mtn. Home, AR.  Roxie was a Christian and had attended church when she could. She enjoyed getting out and visiting with her friends and family. She also enjoyed her OATS BUS rides until her health prevented her from going.

Roxie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard, one sister, Ressie Nelson and one brother, Ray Johnson.  She is survived by her two brothers and their spouses, Raymond & Jeanette Johnson of Ava, MO and Rex & Marty Johnson of Mtn. Grove, MO, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Roxie will be Monday, Jan. 15 ^th , 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ava Cemetery with Pastor Oren Alcorn officiating.  The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
