Troy Junior 'T.J.' White, 74
Troy Junior "T. J." White, 74, of Tecumseh, died of respiratory disease July 20, 2017, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. At his request, no services will be held.
He was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Tecumseh, the son of Troy and Rilla Marie King White. He attended the Sand Ridge School as a boy. In the late 1960s, he married Wanda Killion in Tecumseh; Rex Ebrite officiated. They were later divorced.
Mr. White lived in the Tecumseh area his whole life. He farmed and drove a truck doing local hauling. He also worked in Gainesville at Amyx Auto and at Guffey Chevrolet. Later he was involved in the operation of the Ava Stockyards and then the Gainesville Livestock Auction. His life revolved around cattle.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Kay Dove and husband Ricky of Caulfield; and one grandson, Tyler Dove.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tanya White, who died at age 16; and his longtime companion, Charlene Lambert.
