Tony Ray Hodges

Tony Ray Hodges,  65 years, 10 months, and 30 days old, passed away on  October 1, 2023 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, Missouri after a long illness.

Tony was born November 2, 1957 in Springfield, Missouri to Ollen "Bott" Hodges and Marjorie (Gott) Hodges

Tony grew up in Bradleyville, Missouri and graduated from Bradleyville High School in 1974.  He later attended College of the Ozarks in Hollister, Missouri and graduated with an Associate's Degree.

Tony spent several years as a line man in and around St. Louis, MO.

Tony's passion was always basketball, hunting, and trapping. He could talk basketball for hours and was noted as a very good player.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister and her husband, Deanna and Vic Badovinatz of Bradleyville, MO; son, Tim Hodges; two neices, Tammie Hankins and Myka Hurst; two nephews, C.J. Bodavinatz and Reggie Badovinatz; several great neices and nephews and a host of many cousins and friends.

No services are planned at this time.  Memorials may be made to Blair Cemetery in Bradleyville, MO or Mills Cemetery in Ava, MO.  Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
