Travis Joe Denney

Travis Joe Denney, passed away on August 6, 2026, in Oregon at the age of 49.

On May 31, 1977, Travis was born in Springfield, Missouri and graduated from Parkview High School. He and Lisa Pryor were blessed with three children: Madison, Macy, and Maddex.

Travis lived in Whitefish, Montana for two years, and then he moved to Wilsonville, Oregon. It was there that he got his Barber license and worked at Great Clips. Travis took great pride in his work and always strived for perfection. An avid outdoorsman, Travis loved fishing, hunting, and going camping.Travis was a wonderful father, son, and friend who was so deeply loved by all who knew him.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Denzil Denney, Emogene Denney Jenkins, and Clayton and Alice Rippee.

Travis is survived by his father, Ronald Joe (Tammy Washburn); mother and stepfather, Cathy Jo (Tom Carpenter); his devoted friend, Amanda Marlin Denney; three children Madison, Macy, and Maddex Denney; five grandchildren, Magnum Lirley, Remedy Lirley, Clayton Denney, Ty’Lan Spencer, and JaLani Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Briana and Anthony Lascon; and many other extended family and friends.

A memorial graveside service for Travis will be Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Denney Cemetery, Ava, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Brad Denney and Pastor Mindy Pinckney. Memorials may be made to Denney Cemetery. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc. Ava, Missouri.
