Trellis Mae Hawkins, 90 years, 7 months, 7 days old, passed away on October 14, 2017 at the Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark, MO surrounded by family.
Trellis was born March 7, 1927 in Douglas County, MO to Roy and Ada (Deckard) Cox.
Trellis was a homemaker.
Trellis and Roscoe Hawkins were united in marraige in 1946 in Ongo, MO and they were blessed with three children.
Trellis enjoyed sewing, gardening, and bingo. She also liked listening to bluegrass music.
Trellis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roscoe, two brothers, Bill and Cornell Cox, and three sisters, Tressie Casey, Barbara Phillips, and Novella Nadine Cox, one great grandaughter, and two son in laws.
Trellis is survived by her children, Rowena Hull, Sparta, MO, Leanna Wilkinson, Ozark, MO and Randy Hawkins & wife, Dinah, Ava, MO, one sister, Patsy Ruth Stillings, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Graveside Funeral services for Trellis will be Wednesday, October 18th, at 2:00 pm in Union Grove Cemetery with burial following. Memorials may be made to Union Grove Cemetery.Services
