Trenta Rae Jones

Trenta Rae Jones, 82 years, 10 months, and 24 days old, passed away on  November 24, 2024 at Heart of the Ozarks with her family by her side.

Trenta was born December 31, 1941 in Celeste, Texas to James Lawton Jones, Sr. and Clara Adeline (Trent) Jones.

Trenta was a Christian and a member of the Nash Baptist Church for over 65 years.

Trenta loved writing and birds.  She had several pet birds over the years.  She would also fill up spiral notebooks with her writings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Lawton Jones, Jr. and his wife, Erna Ann Jones.

Trenta is survived by her nephews and their wives, Ron and Linda Duncan, Richard and Midori Cook, Randy Duncan, and Robbie and Linda Duncan; many neices, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Burial of cremains will be in the Chapel Wood Cemetery in Nash, Texas at a later date.  Cremation services are being conducted for Trenta by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Ava.
