Tressie Rae Casey, 81 years, passed to heaven on February 3, 2010 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Tressie was born May 29, 1928 in Crossroads, MO to Roy and Ada (Deckard) Cox.

Tressie was a resident most of her life in Bradleyville, MO. On August 28, 1947, Tressie and William O. "Bill" Casey were united in marriage at Crossroads, MO and to this union two children were born. Tressie was a Christian and a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, bluegrass music, playing bingo and the word find books.

Tressie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, two brothers and two sisters.

Tressie is survived by two children & their spouses, Gary & Barbara Casey, Bradleyville, MO and Sue & Bill Guerin, Taneyville, MO, five grandchildren, Eric Guerin, Shorty Guerin, Cassey Matthews, Sara Ridings and Amy Blair, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters, Trellis Hawkins, Ozark, MO and Patsy Stillings, Ava, MO, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Tressie will be Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Hall Cemetery @ Mound. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Lafferty and Rev. Jeff Marsh. Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
