Treva Mae Tate, 58 years, 14 days old, passed away on November 25, 2016 at her home with all her family by her side.
Treva was born November 11, 1958 in Ava, MO to LeRoy and Anna Lee Denney Engelhardt.
Treva attended Bradleyville School and later graduated from Ava High School.
On September 8, 1976 Treva and Rick Tate were united in marriage at
Ava, MO.
Treva worked as a cafeteria worker at the Ava Public Schools for many years.
Treva enjoyed going to yard sales, buying antiques and reading books. She loved spoiling her grandkids and spending time with her family and friends.
Treva was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Engelhardt.
Treva is survived by her husband, Rick of Ava, MO, four children, Amos Tate, Randall and Missy Tate, Brad and Brandi Stanifer and Jess and Whitney Pollard, two grandchildren, Carson and Jhase Pollard, four siblings, Eva and Junior Fleetwood, Frankie and Loretta Engelhardt, Mike and Debbie Engelhardt and Ronnie Engelhardt, many nieces, nephews, a special sister-in-law, Glenda Tate, a special friend, Norma Lakey and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Treva will be at Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with cremation to follow per Treva's request. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd and Rev. Vernon Fuller. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
