True "Bob" Bazel

True D. Bazel, 90 years old, passed to heaven on May 17, 2009 at his home in Ava, MO. "Bob" was born December 25, 1918 in Paola, KS to True and Mabell (Gentile) Bazel. He graduated from Coffeyville High School, KS.
On Oct. 20, 1963 "Bob" and Marilyn Tourville were united in marriage in Alamogordo, New Mexico and had one daughter. "Bob" was a retired building contractor.
"Bob" loved playing rummy, working crossword puzzles, and eating his bacon with horseradish and eggs every morning for breakfast. He was a WWII veteran and served in the Army Air Force. He was a Christian and a member of the Gentry Church.
"Bob" was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Iola Ditto, Arlene Caudle, and one brother-in-law, Ben Caudle.
"Bob" is survived by his wife, Marilyn of the home in Ava, MO, a daughter, Brenda Hampel of Mansfield and her husband Wes, four grandchildren Krystina Wurtsmith of Gaylord, MI., Brent Hampel of Escanaba, MI., Katherine Adams and husband Roger of Ava, MO., and Ben Hampel of Mansfield, MO., two great grandchildren Audra Wurtsmith of Gaylord, MI., Kylie Adams of Ava, MO., three nieces, Rita Plattor and husband Jerry of Artesia, NM. and Candy Merritt and husband Ron of Lubbock, TX., and Trudy Kelly of TX., and numerous great neices and nephews.
In lieu of services the family had a friends and family reunion on April 22, 2009 at "Bob" and Marilyn's home in Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus (Community Hospice) or the Salvation Army. Cremation services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
