"Buddy" Ulen Gussie Boudreaux Jr.

Hartville, MO

Buddy was born Feb. 19, 1946, New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of Doris C. (Monier) and Ulen Gussie Boudreaux Sr. He left this world to go meet his Lord on May 5, 2014, 8:25 a.m. at his home in Wright County, MO.

Buddy was a truck driver for over 30 yrs, with the last 12 years of truck driving was for Ellis Ipock Trucking, until he retired. He was also a farmer that raised chickens, goats, dogs and many other animals. He was a volunteer firefighter, serving on the Manes Fire Dept Board for three years and northern Wright County Fire Dept., and a Certified 1st Responder. He loved to fish and hunt. Buddy also enjoyed time with his best friend E.J. Rilley, his family, and his other friends. He was a CB operator, and enjoyed talking skip, with the handle "Creo". Most of all he believed in God and was ready to meet his Lord. He was willing to talk to anyone about God and the Bible, which he enjoyed reading and studying.

Buddy chose Laura (Brazeal) Lee to be his life partner for many years. They worked together as a team. Whether it be fire-fighting, 1st responders, managing the farm and home place while the other drove the truck they were a team. They were together to the end.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, many aunts, and uncles: Alice LeGrande, Aline Wilkinson, Alvin, Gilbert, Wilbert, and Floyd Boudreaux, Evelyn Sherry, Eunice Cabral, Rose-Mary Galatas, Daniel, Robert Sr., Joseph Sr. and James Monier, Sr.

He is survived by his life-partner; Laura (Brazeal) Lee his two sons; Joey Boudreaux, Wright County, MO and Roussel "Rusty" Boudreaux & wife, Amber, grandchildren; Alexis and Dax Boudreaux, Wichita, KS; two daughters; Cindy Vice and Susy & Richard Lillie and their four children, Charles, Dakota, Michael and Abigail Lillie all of Lousiana, three step-children; Malinda (Stillings) and husband, Taylor Graybill, Kansas City, KS, Junior and Jimmy Stillings, Missouri, two sisters and their spouses; Jeanette (Boudreaux) & Warren Farve and Linda (Boudreaux) & Capt. Elden James Daigrepont, two brothers & their wives; Daniel Augusta & Gail Boudreaux and Michael Anthony & "Dottie" Dorothea Boudreaux all of New Orleans, Louisiana, one aunt, "Mitsy" Audrey May Constanga and one uncle "Pete" Alfred Monier, Lousiana, and loving extended family; Rose & Ray Brazeal, Terry & Maryanne Brazeal, Norma Barcus, Melody Bingham, Homer Brazeal, Sam Winters all of Missouri, Tom & Linda Brazeal, Michigan, nephews and nieces, good friends and loving neighbors, like Rocky and Carol.

He was a good father, loving son, and a loving and caring partner. He will be missed by all that loved and knew him.

Buddy and Laura wanted to express thanks for the kindness, love, and help of family and friends through this time. Thanks for all the hard work on the Cemetery and just for being there for them. And also a big thanks to Payree and everyone at Hospice Compassus.

Graveside service and memorial will be Saturday, May 17, 2014, 1:00 p.m. on Laura and Buddy's Farm, 7656 Coon Creek Road, Hartville, MO. Cremation services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
