Velma was born December 9, 1943 in Ava, Missouri to Fred Bernard and Nellie Lea (Nicholson) Spring.

Velma enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking shows, shopping, and watching TV.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents; Siblings, James, Carrie, Alvin, Fred(Junior), Ernest, Fred and Frieda; and nephew, Terry Spring.

She is survived by her sibling, Mildred Provost; niece, Penny Spring; sister in law, Patricia Spring and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava with burial to follow in the Fannon Cemetery, Ava, Missouri.  Memorials may be made to Fannon Cemetery, Ava, Missouri.
