Obituary

Velton "Hal" Wynn of Gainesville, Missouri, fulfilled his journey on Earth Monday, November 16, 2020, his 70th birthday. He passed away at the Hospice House in Mountain Home, AR. of natural causes. Hal was known for his gentle, humble and kind nature, playful sense of humor, his love for God, his family, his cat, and old rock and roll.

Hal was born on November 16, 1950 near Chattanooga, Tennessee to Lewis and Rosa Wynn. He grew up Seventh Day Adventist, as his father was a pastor. He shared his early life with two sisters, who say the one thing he always wanted to be, was a father. He was a great one.

He worked as an X-Ray Technician for 40 years from California to Florida. During that time he married twice, that brought about five children, who meant the world to him.

Hal loved nature, loved to hike, swim, collect rocks, and most of all, lend a helping hand.

He spent the last 10 years in Gainesville to be near his children.

He was preceded in death by his son Darren Wynn, his mother Rosa Wynn, and father Lewis Wynn.

He is survived by his children, Dusty Wynn of San Diego, Ca., Tami Wynn of Jonesboro, AR., Jimmy Wynn and wife Liz Wynn of Gainesville, Mo., and Lindsay Wilson of Port Saint Lucie, FL. His grandchildren, Rylen Wynn, Malachi Small, Jonah Small, Maddox Wynn, Sam Wynn, Brody Alger, and Braden Alger, and a great-grandchild, Everett Wynn. His sisters Marsha Dunham and Lucretia Hoch of Arizona. And many nephews and nieces who adored him.

Hal will be missed by all who knew him.

His dream was to build a cabin on his property in the country with all of his children. His family will hold a private memorial at that location at a further date.

Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. To view and post on Hal's online memorial, please go to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com .
