Verl Arlynn Williamson, 81, of Theodosia, MO passed away Thursday April 17, 2014 quietly at home after battling a long illness. He was born September 11, 1932 of K.C. and Jencie Williamson (deceased) in Nottinghill, MO. He served over 20 years in the US Navy and was a long time member of the VFW and AMVETS of Isabella, MO.

Mr. Williamson is survived by wife Adele, children Stephen Williamson, his wife Pat and daughter of Albuquerque, NM, Sharon Williamson and daughter of Edgewood, NM, Vickie Shrewsbury, husband Doug, daughter and son of Theodosia, MO, Kevin Williamson, his wife Christy, their four daughters and two boys of Theodosia, MO.

Also survived by brothers Raymond of MO and Kenneth Calvin II of OK, Sisters Eudine Robb of MO, Marcia Baxley of MO, Veta Cook of KS, and Yvonne Keeny of KS. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the VFW Post #5366, AMVETS Post #154, or a charity of choice.

A memorial service will be held on June 29, 2014 at 1:30pm at the VFW Post #5366 in Isabella, Mo. in the bingo hall. Arrangements are by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
