VERLON DALE TOWNSEND
Verlon Townsend, Gainesville, MO son of Orley and Maxine (Baden) Townsend, was born October 22, 1937 in Kennett, MO and passed away December 17, 2008 in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 71 years.
On November 27, 1957 he married Connie Kinder in Senatoba, Mississippi. Verlon worked several years as a Lab Technician for Boeing Corp.
He is survived by his wife Connie Townsend of the home; one son Tim Dale Townsend of High Ridge, Missouri; three brothers Orley Townsend of Lake Ozark, MO, Bob Townsend and Dean Townsend both of Fenton, MO, five sisters Mary Blitz of St. Louis, MO, Joan Blanner of High Ridge, MO, Ruth Asher of Fenton, MO, Connie Jean Townsend of High Ridge, MO, and Elizabeth of House Springs, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Debra Lynn, one brother, and three sisters.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
