Vicki D. Vance

Vickie Vance was born in Lorain, Ohio on August 14, 1956 and departed this life at her beloved home near Ava on January 26, 2009, at the age of 52.

The early years of her life were spent in Ohio and Illinois were she went to school and worked. In 1992 she met and married the love of her life Dean Vance and they soon moved to Ava. Vicki worked in the Ava Copeland plant, and Dean spent many hours trucking across the country but they enjoyed every moment together living life the fullest. Whether it was riding their Harley 'Old Blue' or shooting crows or just spending time with her grandchildren in her home she loved so much.

Vicki was preceded by her father Cal Greer and a son George. She is survived by her husband Dean of Ava, a son Steven and his wife Lara of Ava, her grandchildren Caleb, Kiri, Zakkery, Gavin, Karsen, and Tristin. Vicki is also survived by her mother and step father Pete and Wilma Fish of
Reedstown, Wisconsin, a sister Sandy Walters of Wenatchee, Washington, and two brothers Tom Greer of California and Pat Greer of Wisconsin, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Vicki will be Friday January 30, at 2:00 P.M. in St. Leo's Catholic Church with Burial in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 till 7 in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.Memorial contribution may be made to donor's choice at the funeral home.
