Viola Irby, 90 years, 4 months, and 3 days old, passed away March 1, 2024 at Citizens Memorial Healthcare in Bolivar, Missouri.

Viola was born October 28, 1933 in Goodhope, Missouri to Earnest and Esther (Johnson) Davis.

She was a Christian and attended the Buffalo Church of God 7th Day in Buffalo, Missouri.

On April 10, 1955, Viola and Herman Irby were united in marriage in Goodhope, Missouri.  Together they were blessed with their daughter, Melinda.

Viola enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading the bible and attending church when she was able.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman; three brothers, Larry Davis, Delmar Davis, and Jimmie Davis.

Viola is survived by her daughter Melinda (Larry) Blair; grandsons, Eric (Julie) Caston and Steve (Jessica) Caston; great grandchildren Hadlee Caston and Cooper Caston; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Viola will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Goodhope Cemetery with burial to follow.   Memorials may be made to the Goodhope Cemetery.
