Viola Marler

Viola G. Marler, 89 years, passed to Heaven on February 9, 2015 at her home in Fordland with her family by her side.
Viola was born May 20, 1925 in John Mills, MO to Winford and Minnie (Copeland) Hargis.
On June 14, 1943, Viola and Glen Edward Marler were united in marriage in Marshfield, MO and to this union seven children were born.
Viola was a Christian and of the Penticostal faith. Viola was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen in 2008, a grandson, Richard Edward Marler, two great grandsons, Drew Farrell and Troy Adams, two brothers, Philip and Raymond Hargis and three sister-in-laws.
Viola is survived by seven children, Duane Marler & Vicki, Donna Farrell & Bob, Caroline Genanatti, Ronald Marler & Ruth, Robert Marler, Garry Marler and Steve Marler, 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, one sister, Elizabeth & Bill Lupton, two sister-in-laws, Eunice Sanders and Calista Hargis, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Viola will be Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Easter Cemetery (Z Hwy.) in Webster County near Fordland. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Roller. Memorials may be made to Easter Cemetery in care of The Bank of Fordland. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
