Vivian Helen Allen the daughter Leroy Gay and Ethyl (Gardner) Gay was born Oct. 31, 1917 in Souder, Missouri and departed this life May 2, 2007 at the age of 89 years 6 months and 1 day.
Vivian was a resident of Nixa, MO for the past 6 years moving from Ozark, MO. She was a homemaker. She loved hunting for antiques, rock hounding, and looking for Indian Artifacts.
On Feb. 17, 1945 Vivian and D.O. Allen were united in marriage in Lexington, MO. Vivian and D.O. Allen were blessed with one son, Dennis.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Orievle Gay, and her husband, D.O. Allen. She is survived by one son, Dennis Allen, Nixa, MO, one brother, Bud Gay, Phoenix, AZ, three sisters, Louise Sykes, of the state of Washington, Grace Miles, Columbia, MO, Bee Brandenberger, Lancaster, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
