Vivian "Kathy" Kathleen Evans

Ava, Missouri

Vivian Kathleen Evans, 75 years, 8 days old, passed away on October 29, 2017 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO with her family by her side.

Kathy was born October 21, 1942 in Ava, MO in Douglas County to Clarence Clifford and Vera Pearl (Greene) Cornelius.

She had currently been working at Town & Country Supermarket in Ava for the past three years and had worked for 30 years at the Ava Wal-Mart.

Kathy was a Christian and had attended the Ava Assembly of God. She enjoyed mowing her five acres, she loved working, and most of all she loved being with all her grandkids and family!

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kasha Eugenia Hall, and two brothers, Fred & Harold Cornelius.

She is survived by her companion of 41 years, Karl Hall, her two children, Darin Evans and wife, Kim, and Melissa Evans and fiance, David Choate all of Ava, MO, six grandchildren, Daris, Ally, and Abby Evans, Brandi Yost and husband, Daniel, Tamara Young and husband, Dalton, and Mashala Gunning, one great grandson on-the-way, Ryker,

one brother, Jackie Cornelius and four sisters, Carol Taylor, Becky Thomas, Charlotte Jones, and Wanda Fleetwood and husband, Paul,

many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Kathy will be Wed., Nov. 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial of her cremains following in the Ava Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd and Pastor Robert Hall. Memorials may be made to Heart of the Hills Food Harvest in Ava.
