Vonna Dean Hathcock, 82 years, 3 months, and 6 days old, passed to Heaven on November 4, 2015 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Vonna was born July 29, 1933 in Ozark County, MO to Vern and Gertrude (Gaulding) Wallace.

On March 20, 1950 Vonna and Thurman Hayden Hathcock were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union two sons were born.

Vonna was a Christian. She retired from working as a Seamstress at Hagales in Ava and had also worked at Spaldings Factory in Ava.

Vonna enjoyed sewing, embroidery, cooking, gardening, especially her roses and visiting with all her neighbors.

Vonna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thurman Hayden in 1983, a son, Harold Dexter and two brothers, Joe Bill and Rex Wallace.

Vonna is survived by a son, Denziel Hathcock,Thornfield, MO, two grandchildren, Robert Hathcock, Thornfield, MO and Jessica Hathcock, Springfield, MO, two great granddaughters, Santana and Teagan Hathcock and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Vonna will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial in the Thornfield Cemetery, Thornfield, MO. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Leonard Hart. Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery.
