Obituary

Voyledean Bradshaw, the daughter of Wesley and Nora (Miller) Everett, was born Jan. 27, 1934 in Douglas County, Missouri and departed this life Aug. 10, 2010 at the age of 76 years 6 months and 13 days.

Voyledean was a lifelong resident of Douglas County and was a graduate of Ava High School. On June 22, 1954 Voyledean and Quentin Bradshaw were united in marriage in Gentryville.

Voyledean was a member of Basher Church for most of her life, where she was pianist and Sunday school teacher for over forty years. In recent times she attended Faith Rock Church.

Voyledean was a caring loving mother, grandmother and a giving person who was always willing to sacrifice to help others. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Voyledean was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, two brothers, Dorn Everett and Verlin Everett, two sisters, Ivonna Hannaford and Yvonne Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband Quentin, two sons Don Bradshaw and wife, Loraine, Ava, MO and Dennis Bradshaw, Seymour, MO, a granddaughter, Erin of Seymour and six step grandchildren and a number of step great grandchildren, as well as three sisters, Jeanne Heinlein, Ava, MO, Lyndell Beardsley, Witchita, KS and Lyla Beardsley, San Leondro, CA. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, Aug.13, 2010 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Rev. Robert Grisham officiating. Interment will follow in the Dyer Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideons, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
