W. JUNE DEWEESE

W. June DeWeese, 84, of Gainesville, MO passed to heaven on December 15, 2012 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on May 11, 1928 in Emporia, KS, the daughter of Dallas L. and Ruby C. (Ulhman) Caywood.

June graduated from high school in Emporia, KS. She was united in marriage to Robert Wendell DeWeese. June was a homemaker and very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, MO. She believed in the power of prayer, and was a strong witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.

June is survived by her children Tony R. DeWeese and wife Deborah of Gainesville, MO, Brad A. DeWeese and wife Pamela of Gainesville, MO, Barry C. DeWeese and wife Peggy of Ava, MO, Robin R. Walker of Gainesville, MO, Cindy K. Turner and husband Leon of Thornfield, MO, and Dallas Bruce DeWeese and wife Melanie of Gainesville, MO; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother Donald D. Caywood and wife Audrey of Winfield, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Ruby Caywood; her husband Robert DeWeese Sr.; one son Robert "Bobby" Wendell DeWeese Jr.; one grandson Benjamin Jake Turner; one son-in-law Charles Daniel Walker III; and one brother Edwin D. Caywood.

Funeral services for June will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Tony and Bruce DeWeese officiating. Burial will be in the Mammoth Cemetery officiated by Mike Dillin. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
