Wanda June (Snelson) Hair the daughter of Oral Snelson and Olga (Gilliland) Snelson was born March 16, 1933 in Wasola, Missouri and departed this life Feb. 19, 2007 at the age of 73 years 11 months and 3 days.

Wanda June was a resident of Springfield, MO for the past 10 years moving there from Hurley, Missouri. Wanda was a member of the Oak Grove General Baptist Church but attended the First General Baptist Church in Springfield for many years. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, she was a fun loving person and loved playing cards and just loved visiting with everyone.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and one infant sister. She is survived by two sons, Rod Crane and wife Sandy, Springfield, Mo, Chris King, Kansas City, MO, one grandson, Aaron Crane, Springfield, MO, one brother, Gene Snelson and wife, Jonnie, Bella Vista, AR, two sisters, Genevieve Carter and husband, Lynn, Raleigh, N.C., Bonnie Bishop and husband, Bruno, Springfield, Mo, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wasola, MO with Pastor Dean Trivitt officiating. Visitation will be Friday 1 to 2 P.M. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, MO. Memorial may be made to the First General Baptist Church of Springfield, MO.
