Wanda Lea Montgomery, 76, Gainesville, MO, passed away on September 17, 2010 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born on November 5, 1933 in Western Grove, AR, the daughter of Virgil and Melissa (Martin) Spears.

On November 11, 1952 Wanda was united in marriage to Robert Montgomery in Reno, NV. They spent a wonderful 30 years together before his passing in 1982. Wanda was a homemaker and a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Melissa Spears; her husband Robert Montgomery; and four siblings. She is survived by her children Victoria Kelly of Redding, CA, Lora Hubbard and husband Jeff of Zanoni, MO, and Timothy Montgomery and wife Mikki of Corvallis, OR; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Living God in Ava, MO. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO. Another memorial service and burial will be planned at a later date in Anderson, CA.
