Wanda Jean Teeple, 78 years, 5 months, and 19 days old, passed away on December 17, 2010 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO.

Jean was born June 28, 1932 in Douglas County, MO to Lula (Clemons).

On June 5, 1985 Wanda Jean and Edward J. Teeple were united in marriage in Searcy, AR. Jean was born and raised in Douglas County, MO. She graduated from Mtn. Grove High School.

She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Ava. Jean enjoyed traveling in the RV with her husband, Ed. Jean enjoyed being active and loved being with people.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Lula and step father, Earl Williams.


Jean is survived by her husband, Edward J. Teeple, Ava, MO, her children, Charles David Strunk and Rodney Dean Strunk & wife, Connie, Mtn. Grove, MO, two step children and their spouses, Stephen & Stacey Teeple, Dora, MO and Martha Diane & Terry Reid, Nixa, MO, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Stephen, Eric, James, Edward and Melissa Teeple, two brothers, Richard Williams, Forsyth, MO and Donald Williams, Springfield, MO and other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Jean will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial at 2:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Maples. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
