Obituary

Wanda Eugenia Wallace, 62, of Ozark, MO, passed away on December 5, 2010 at Table Rock Healthcare Center in Kimberling City, MO. She was born on October 16, 1948 in Gainesville, MO, the daughter of Martin L. "Bus" and Audra (Cowin) Cutbirth.

Wanda was a 1966 graduate of Gainesville High School. On April 4, 1969, she was united in marriage to Don Wallace in Mountain Home, AR. To this union two daughters were born. Wanda was very involved in athletics. She enjoyed coaching basketball and softball. She coached several traveling softball teams throughout the years. She loved watching her girls play. Wanda also loved to quilt and work on the farm. She was a hard worker and was devoted to her family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents "Bus" and Audra Cutbirth and one brother Delmous "Pete" Cutbirth. She is survived by her husband Don Wallace of the home in Ozark, MO; two daughters Bridget Wolfe of Ozark, MO and Ashley Wallace of Nixa, MO; two granddaughters Jaden Wolfe and Ashya Thompson; three siblings Thelma Cutbirth, Dannie Cutbirth, and Ruby Cheek; and several other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Salem General Baptist Church in Ocie, MO. Burial will be in the Rhodes Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from Noon to service time at the church building. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
