Wanda Marie Woolman, 72 years, 11 months, and 17 days old, passed to Heaven on February 14, 2016 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO.
Wanda was born February 28, 1943 in Buckhart, MO to Peter Lyle and Beulah Marie (Wrinkles) Scherer. She graduated from Dora High School.
Wanda was retired from Rawlings Sporting Goods in Ava. She had worked there for over 23 years. On Oct. 19, 2001, Wanda and Clifford Woolman were united in marriage in Vanzant, MO.
She was a member of Walnut Grove General Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, fishing, hunting and being with all her family and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaugther, Natasha Lambert, one grandson, Jason Lambert and one step grandson, Clifford "CR" Woolman.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Clifford R. Woolman, Sr., Ava, MO, two children and their spouses; daughter, Janice & Curly Rawlings and Robert & Robin Lambert all of Ava, MO, six step children; Clifford Woolman, Jr., Thornfield, MO, Charmin Brown, Halfway, MO, Melinda Hardison, Strafford, MO, George Ray Woolman, Cat Springs, TX, Mike Woolman, and Charlie Woolman, both of Columbus, TX, five grandchildren, many step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, one brother, Lyle Dean Scherer and wife, "Bert", Gentryville, MO and one sister, Linda Faye Mozie, Houston, MO, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Wanda will be Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Yates Cemetery east of Ava. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava. Officiating will be Pastor Bud Scherer and Pastor Robert Roberts. Memorials may be made to Yates Cemetery.
