Wasene Solomon

Wasene Solomon, 66 years, passed away peacefully from a long illness on July 12, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.

Wasene was born November 3, 1946 in Ozark County, MO to Jim and Donna (Lawson) McDaniel. She graduated from Ava High School.

Wasene was a resident of the Ava community for many years.
She was a retired Machine Operator for several years at Emerson Electric in Ava, MO. Wasene was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.

Wasene loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She and her Grandson, Dane had spoke of meeting at the river and now they are there together.

Wasene was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Dane Solomon, two brothers, Garmon and Andy McDaniel and three sisters, Geraldine, Betty and Ruth.


Wasene is survived by three children and their spouses, Angela & Matthew Woods, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Tina & Ray Grooms and Marty & Marla Solomon all of Ava, MO, one step-son, Dean Current, Colorado, four grandchildren, Tyler Woods, Trenton Woods, Kelsae Rush and Mason Solomon, five brothers and sisters, Hester Tidwell, Wasola, MO, Frank McDaniel, Gainesville, MO, Lavona Twitty, Wasola, MO, Linda Welch, Ava, MO and Polly Boyd, Bradleyville, MO, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Wasene will be Monday, July 15, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Murray Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Chaplain Jeff Smith and Pastor Ron Wallace. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
