WAYNE CLARK

Wayne Clark passed away Saturday evening, January 6, 2007 at the Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas, he was 84 years, 5 months, and 14 days old. Wayne was born on July 22, 1922 in Brandsville, Missouri to Perry Clark and Mary (Tackett) Clark. On April 18, 1942 Wayne and Necie Smith were married in Brixey, Missouri. Wayne owned and operated Clark's Trading post for many years. A member of the Church Of Christ, Wayne was a resident of Ozark County most of his life. Survived by his daughter Sue Hambelton and husband Elmo of Gainesville, Missouri; 4 grandchildren Terry Hambelton and wife Miranda, Barry Hambelton and wife Tab, Shawn Hambelton and wife Shelly, Anna Shancoski and husband Mark. Grandchildren Bailey, Dayle, Tinlye, Shelby, Chandler, Elxie, and Alex. One sister Helen Harrison of West Plains, Missouri.
Preceded in death by his Parents Perry and Mary Clark, wife Necie Clark, 4 brothers Earl, Glenn, Harold, and Lynn Clark; 3 sisters Mildred Cronster, Mabel Floyd, and Lena Ball.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Gainesville Church of Christ with Vic Williams officiating. Burial followed at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers Terry Hambelton, Barry Hambelton, Shawn Hambelton, Larry Grisham, Keith Grisham, and Charles Whisnant. Honorary Pallbearers Joe McFarland, Ray Grisham, Marty Whisnant, and Jeff Whisnant.
