Wayne and Dianne (Sanders) were married on December 23, 2009 at Western Grove, AR chapel. Wayne was a Christian; he loved to read the bible and historical books on the bible, watching John Hagee and Charles Stanley ministries.

He loved gardening and keeping a beautiful bountiful vegetable garden along with flowers, trees and his yard. He enjoyed birds and kept numerous feeders and birdhouses out. His relaxation at the end of the day was sitting on the porch in his rocker with a glass of ice tea and watching the hummingbirds, and numerous other birds. He loved spending time with Aidan, whether both of them were out working in the yard, cutting wood or just taking some time out to go to a water park of Silver Dollar City.
